Wireless is one of the hottest industrial trends. According to a report from Industrial Monitoring and Controls, the growth rate for wireless installations is expected to be 300% over the next three years. The wireless Technology Seminar will highlight different technologies for license-free radios including 900 MHz, Bluetooth and Wireless Ethernet. Data and I/O applications utilizing these FCC ISM bands will be discussed.
Active demos and real-life application stories will be used to illustrate the correct mthod of applying these technologies. Common questions involving security, cost-effectiveness, response to interface, and fail-safe operation will be covered.
